Deputy Sheriff’s will be conducting Saturation Patrols and DUI Checkpoints day and night through the holiday season to prevent impaired operators from driving on St. Mary’s County roadways.

Rescue crews from Solomons and St. Leonard responded to H.G. Trueman Road and Dowell Road in front of the Hilton Garden Inn around 3:04 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30 for report of a pedestrian struck. Upon arrival, crews discovered a male had been struck by a vehicle and was suffering serious injuries.
