I was reminded this morning that today is the day that all Christians reflect on the wonderful gift their mortality provides. Our Savior died for us so that we can all live forever with Him and the Father. Easter is a day when we give thanks for the Savior’s ultimate sacrifice and resurrection. We believe in Him because we have faith. Today is a good day to ponder how you intend to use the rest of your life and ultimately decide how long you would like it to be.
Do you really make that decision? I mean it’s not like we decide when we want to die. But do we? Each day we drive like a MUD we may shorten our own lives like the Dried MUD that preceded us. Each day you drive recklessly is a day you have decided you care nothing for your own life and the lives of others.
Remember today that when you drive safely you are a blessing to those around you and perhaps even to a tailgater. Today that MUD might arrive angry and frustrated but alive, because he followed your car too closely. Perhaps during the rest of the day he might get another message that gives the frustrating events in his day meaning. I have faith that he will
God does work in mysterious ways.
Happy Easter everybody. Safe driving is a matter of conscience. You do decide how you drive. Please decide to drive safely.
Stop the MUD
